California Tallow was born out of a simple belief: the best cooking starts with the best ingredients. We're a small-batch, California-made brand dedicated to bringing pure, grass-fed beef tallow back to the modern kitchen.

Our Story

We grew up watching our grandparents cook with real fats — tallow, lard, butter — and the food was always better for it. Somewhere along the way, those traditions got replaced by processed seed oils and "heart-healthy" substitutes that were anything but. We decided to change that.

California Tallow is our answer: a clean, single-ingredient cooking fat rendered from 100% grass-fed beef, sourced right here in California. No additives. No fillers. No shortcuts.
